Chocolate Bliss Balls (RAW)
THESE. Wow! So much flavor and pure as can be. They’re super easy to make, too, and BONUS, they’re raw!
You will need a food processor for this recipe.
ingredients:
1 heaping cup pitted dates
1 heaping cup raw walnuts
3 TBS cocoa powder (make sure it is not Dutch processed! See notes)
2 TBS cacao nibs (optional but gives them a great crunch!)
1 TBS tahini (or raw almond butter to keep it raw)
1 tsp chia seeds
1 TBS pure maple syrup (optional but adds a bit more sweetness)
method
Place walnuts and dates in the food processor and pulse until well combined and in small bits.
Add remaining ingredients and pulse again until the mixture holds together when pinched.
Add love! ❤️
Using a small scooper (l use this one), portion into balls, rolling in your hands to shape.
Makes about 12 little balls of deliciousness. Bliss out!
NOTES
You can make these larger if you prefer. I like them rather small as they are very rich. I usually fill that small scooper so that it’s mounded.
The type of cocoa powder you use MATTERS. “Dutch Processed” has many of the nutrients of the cocoa bean stripped from it. People may think it’s better because the color is darker and richer. Don’t be fooled. Use “non-alkalized” cocoa powder. Always.
